What We Offer
**Salsa** - Learn the most popular Latin social dance, featuring infectious rhythms and dynamic partner work. Perfect for nightclubs and social events.
**Bachata** - Master the romantic, sensual dance from the Dominican Republic with its characteristic hip movements and close connection.
**Merengue** - Start with this fun, accessible dance that’s easy to learn and guaranteed to get you moving on any dance floor.
Master the Art of Lead and Follow
Our classes focus on the essential partnership skills that make social dancing truly magical. Instead of choreographed routines, we prioritize practical lead-and-follow techniques, empowering you to dance confidently to any music, anywhere.
**For Leaders** - Learn to provide clear, confident signals through body movement, frame, and connection. Develop the skills to guide your partner smoothly through turns, patterns, and improvisation while staying connected to the music.
**For Followers** - Discover the active art of following—maintaining your own balance and styling while interpreting and responding to your partner’s lead. Learn to express the music through your movement while staying connected.
**Connection is Key** - We teach both roles the importance of maintaining proper frame, tension, and communication through touch. Great social dancing happens when both partners are fully engaged in the conversation.
Class Details
Every Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at StillyArts
$25 per class or $80 for 4 classes
Age range 15 and above.
No Partner Required - Come solo or bring a friend! We rotate partners throughout class so you’ll practice with different dancers and adapt to various lead/follow styles.
Progressive Technique - Build your foundation with basic connection principles, then advance to complex turn patterns, styling, and musical interpretation.
